UPRR Davidson Yard Realignment and Bridge Evaluation

Alpha was retained to provide scope and budget, and to complete 90 borings in the operating rail yard in south Fort Worth, TX. Pavement design, track design, and bridge technical recommendations were formulated in the engineering report. Alpha provided safety trained personnel for the work. Work was required to meet NTTA requirements as the work was performed in part to allow the Southwest Parkway (121-T) to cross the Davidson Yard.

Unique Services: Evaluated existing bridge, documenting footing dimensions from water craft instead of boring from rail operations area, saving both time and money for UPRR and Wilson & Company as Consulting Engineer for UPRR.
