Federal Express Ground Distribution Facility

This project included construction of a new 480,000 s.f. distribution center. In addition, ancillary structures included two guardhouses, a wash building, fuel island and a trailer.

Unique Services: Foundations consisted of drilled and under-reamed piers in the moderately-loaded building areas and deep straight drilled piers in the heavily- loaded upper bay areas. Subgrade improvements consisted of deep water pressure injection to reduce the potential for future movement of the slab.
