January 2012 - Alpha Testing is selected by the City of Cedar Hill to provide geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing under a master services contract. 

2011

December 2011 - Alpha Testing - San Antonio recently completed the AASHTO Accreditation and USACE Validation processes. Click here for a copy of their certificates.

October 2011 - Alpha Testing has been awarded a University of Texas System OFPC contract for geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing. The contract covers multiple campuses within the UT System. We are honored by, and excited about, this multi-year award!

September 2011 - Alpha Testing is now on the City of Fort Worth master contract for Geotechnical, Materials Testing, and Environmental services. The effort was led by Alpha's Greg Silva. Email Greg

August 2011 - Alpha Testing is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Adams, EIT, to the geotechnical staff in Dallas. He is a recent graduate of Missouri University of Science & Technology, and has completed two summer interships with Alpha.

April 2011 - Alpha Testing is pleased to announce that John Styron, PE, LEED AP, has joined as San Antonio Region Manager. Mr. Styron brings 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience in the San Antonio, TX area. Styron can also assist with construction materials testing and environmental engineering needs. February 2011 - The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) issues Alpha Testing a Notice to Proceed (NTP) for the construction materials testing for Chisholm Trail Parkway Section 2B. Alpha is currently completing similar services on Section 2C of the project.

January 2011 - The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) has awarded the construction materials testing and inspection for the multi-year George Shannon Richland Chamber Constructed Wetland, Phase II. Alpha is excited to be an integral part of this significant water supply project, working closely with Alan Plummer Associates, McCarthy, and TRWD. 

2010

November 2010 - Methodist Hospital for Surgery in Addison opens its doors to patients. Alpha provided both geotechnical and construction materials testing services on the $60 million facility. Working under strict time deadlines, Alpha was able to provide prompt, accurate services. Click here for additional information on this project.

July 2010 - Mr. Tyler Barron joins the development group for the Alpha Testing family of companies. email Tyler

May 2010 - Alpha Testing welcomes Richard Whitt, PE to the geotechnical group at Alpha Testing.  email Richard

June 2010 - Kevin Tosh (email) and Chris Pape (email) join the environmental department.  Tosh brings a wealth of subsurface experience and Pape brings aviation expertise.

April 2010 - Alpha is awarded the construction materials testing consultant contract on the Southwest Parkway Section 2C, of the NTTA.  Alpha serves the North Texas Tollway Authority from our Fort Worth office.

2009

June 2009 - Alpha welcomed Brian Hoyt, EIT to the firm in June 2009.  Brian is assisting with major water retention and transportation projects in Texas.  email Brian

May 2008 - Alpha Sponsors the 2008 SCCA Sunburn Grand Prix. The sponsorship benefitted the Transition Resource Action Center (TRAC), a program within CitySquare that helps youth leaving the foster care system at age 18. More information about TRAC can be found HERE.
